Positive effects may include the decrease or total annihilation of the dependency on illegal narcotics. Other effects may include behavioral improvements and an improvement in social development.
Negative effects may include the increased dependency on legal narcotics. Many times, legal medication is used to help people ease out of illegal narcotics. This means that you simply become addicted to something more legal.
